Brrr, warm up with memories of Summer
So, today I have on my thermals, scalf, gloves etc and I'm inside. The girls are at school, although it was touch and go as to wether we would make it. As we walked to school the rain instantly turned to sheet ice, black ice, the kind you cannot see ICE. Not easy wielding book bags, packed lunch boxes, two little hands and maintaining upright. But we did manage to get there safely, thanks to kindly neighbours salting paths and human chains to ferry us across the bits with no handholds. Quite, quite scary...... So to cheer and warm me up I thought back to last summer when we had friends to visit, and the paddling pool was out, the children were playing with the hose pipe and all was, well - warm. Tomatoes were growing in the greenhouse, buttercups in the lawn, licking ice lollies to cool down. A far cry from todays ice that nearly had us fall down. Roll on spring....!

A family gathers in Lindale to celebrate Nana’s 60th in style!
So, the website went live about a week ago now, and the lovely thing is it's bringing in work from afar.
I had an email from Debbie who lives in Surrey to ask if I'd be available to take some photographs her lovely Mum and all the family. The idea was to capture the troop as they gathered from far and wide in order to celebrate Nana's big birthday.
Staying in a fabulous old Vicarage near Grange-over-Sands we had much fun in the garden captuing the spirit of their very close family.
I must say it really makes my job easier and totally enjoyable when you have 12 people who are up for a bit of fun!
